Plenty of nearshore providers put data sovereignty near the top of their sales pitch, promising that a client's customer records will stay inside one country and under its laws.
However, Nearshore Americas spoke to two executives, one running a small voice operation and the other a large contact-center and IT outsourcer, who say the promise wins nothing in the sales pitch.
"We have not built in-region data infrastructure of our own, and I would be suspicious of any nearshore voice vendor my size who says they have," said Miki Furman, Founder and CEO of Call Force Global.
